The Altavia del Tabacco path mostly coincides with the circular itinerary. In particular it omits the ascent at Enego and departs from Costa (also reached from Cismon), then coincides with the circular itinerary up to Oliero, and then ascends to the village of Caluga above Campese (after Campolongo), then descends to Ca’ Michiel di Bassano del Grappa.
It is a route that follows the tracks of the tobacco smugglers and the guards who pursued them, when the masiere (terraces) were mainly used for growing precious tobacco plants.
