How to reach us


By car

From Bassano del Grappa to Trento

Take the SS47 Valsugana road. 10 km from Bassano del Grappa, turn left onto the Campolongo sul Brenta bridge and follow signs for another 4 km until you reach Valstagna, Frazione Oliero.

From Trento to Bassano del Grappa

Take the SS47 Valsugana road. At the traffic lights in Carpanè-San Nazario, turn right towards Valstagna. Go over the bridge and turn left, following signs for 1.5 km.

By train

The Caves of Oliero can also be reached by train. 

The closest stop is Carpanè-Valstagna Cross the SS47 road and walk south. Turn right at the traffic lights and follow signs for Grotte di Oliero. Cross the bridge and turn left. Walk along the path by the river Brenta for about 1.5 km until you reach the complex.

By Bus

The Caves of Oliero can also be reach by bus start from the station of Bassano del grappa

If you take Line 49 the closest stop is Oliero di Sopra or Oliero di Sotto, both a few hundred meters from the entrance of the Caves. If you take line 48 or 48B, to reach the Caves, by foot, cross the SS 47 and continue south. At the traffic lights turn right and follow the signs for the Grotte di Oliero, cross the bridge and turn left. Follow the promenade that runs along the Brenta river for about 1.9 km until you reach the naturalistic complex.
